LAVs
Light Armoured Vehicles, or LAVs, are the flagship product of General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada. With a history dating back to 1977, over 7,000 LAVs have been ordered by a wide range of global customers.
From the first LAV ordered in 1977, the 6x6 Armoured Vehicle General Purpose (AVGP), to our latest technology demonstrators, we continually strive to enhance the performance of our products, all with a view to meeting the evolving needs of customers.
Our LAVs have been given a wide variety of names by our customers. However whether our vehicles are called a Coyote, Stryker, ASLAV, NZLAV, or LAV III, each was designed, built and is supported to satisfy the demands of the soldiers that rely on them.
