GDLS Canada

The General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) is the mainstay of the Canadian Army, as well as other armies around the globe. From the first vehicles ordered in 1977 to the recent upgrade of the LAV IIIs, the LAV has been the vehicle the Army can depend for both battlefield and humanitarian missions.

As the military requirements of the Canadian Army evolve, so do General Dynamics Land Systems’ products. From larger vehicles ASCOD 2 to tactical vehicles and protected trucks, we can provide a full spectrum of offerings through the General Dynamics product line as well as through teamings and the integration of weapon systems and other major sub-systems.

The LAV Family combines versatility, survivability, lethalithy and maneuverability to handle a wide array of missions.
At the forefront of blast-and ballistic-protected technology is our Tactical Family of vehicles, saving lives in mine and IED events.
